A boxing invitational, coordinated by the Bacolod Amateur Boxing Association (BABA), will feature 12 boxing fights, in eight categories, today at the BAYS Center in Bacolod City.
The scheduled fights include a pair of bouts in the 23kg weight class between fighters from Barangay Bata and La Carlota City. Kenrich Montedao takes on John Llemart Taebao while Randay Tuazon faces Joemarie Abella.
Other fights include Reymart Belenson of EB Magalona vs. Niel Contas of La Carlota City (36kg), Bryan Encurquez of Barangay Bata vs. Maque Borromeo of Murcia (40kg), Julius Salbibia of Murcia vs. Larry Boy Garingo of Barangay Handumanan (42kg), Roger Francisco of Murcia vs. Jeric Garcia of Barangay Handumanan (44kg), Rogen Roquero of Murcia vs. Joey Pasente of Barangay Handumanan, (44kg), RB Jay Bernil of EB Magalona vs. Joren Varona of La Carlota City (48kg), Gerson dela Cruz of Murcia vs. Joan Tanouan of La Carlota City (50kg), Joel Pamplona of La Carlota City vs. Ricky delos Santos of Barangay Handumanan (50kg), Mike dela Torre of Murcia vs. Geofrey Pastor of Barangay Handumanan (54kg), and Reymart Liboon of Murcia vs. Rodger Lambating of Barangay Bata (54kg).
