BBC beat 11 Degrees, 86-78, while Akasya edged out AA Electrical, 87-86, in the ongoing Toby’s Sports Bacolod Inter-Barkada Basketball Tournament at the STI-West Negros University gym.
BBC closed the first half with a 42-35 lead, however, following a 19-16 third quarter run by 11 Degrees, that margin was reduced to 58-54.
Rey Pandoro led the winners with 14 points; followed by Allan Jaena with 12; Glen Trabasas with 11; and Diomedes Mariano, Marvin Tan, and Philip Abong with 10 each.
Despite the loss, Carlo Chu registered 16 points for 11 Degrees.
In the other match, Miggy Puentevella led Akasya with 24 points, followed by Japhet Cua with 16, Arturo Cuaresma – 14, and Raul Javelosa – 11./WDJ
