Ceres-Negros FC continue their 2017 AFC Cup group stage campaign against Tampines Rovers FC of Singapore tonight at the Panaad Park and Stadium.
During a press conference yesterday, Ceres Coach Risto Vidaković said he is expecting a “tough match,” but the team is up for a win.
Co-captain Louie Casas said the crowd will also play an important role, noting, “They will be the extra force the team needs to take the victory.”
For Rovers Coach Jürgen Raab, he admitted Ceres is a “strong team,” but also assured victory tonight.
Meanwhile, former Ceres midfielder Son Yong-chan will be playing at the Panaad for the first time since his transfer to the Singaporean outfit last season.
“I’m excited to play in Panaad again,” he said.
With regard to stadium policies, the local organizing committee reminded spectators to avoid bringing umbrellas or any pointed items inside the stadium, along with the prohibition of alcoholic beverages./WDJ
