Ice Sportswear overcame a 10-point deficit and defeated Capitol, 105-99, in the ongoing Toby’s Sports Bacolod Inter-Barkada Basketball Tournament at the STI-West Negros University gym.
Ice Sportswear led 26-21 after the first period and, later, extended that lead to 56-40 at the break.
However, in the third, Marte Sellado delivered 17 points, while RR deal Cruz added 11, driving Capitol ahead 81-71 going into the final period.
Born Enaya and Justin Baldonado led the victors with 16 points each, followed by Luigi Herrera with 15, JR Barraneo – 12, and Elvin Diaz – 10.
Despite the loss, Sellado scored a total 25 points for Capitol.
Meanwhile, in the other game, RDSA forfeited their game against AA Electrical./WDJ
