A 23-year-old man was found dead inside the house at Barangay Blumentritt in Negros Occidental’s Murcia town on Sunday night, July 12, with police saying there were no indications of foul play.

Murcia police said responders found the victim lying face down inside a bedroom at around 9:00 p.m.

He was later identified by the homeowner.

Police said a neighbor became concerned after noticing that the victim had not come out of the house throughout the afternoon.

An ocular inspection found no signs of struggle, external injuries or disturbance inside the house.

His personal belongings were also intact, with no indication that a crime had been committed.

The victim’s parents told investigators that their son had a history of seizures and believed his death was due to his existing medical condition.
