A 46-year-old man died after he was allegedly stabbed by his wife and his alleged another woman following a domestic dispute at Barangay Po-ok in Negros Occidental’s Hinoba-an town on Tuesday, June 30.

The victim, identified only by the alias “Ed,” was declared dead on arrival at the hospital after sustaining stab wounds.

Police identified the suspects as the victim’s wife, 52-year-old alias “Jima,” and her alleged lover, 56-year-old alias “Ge.”

All are residents of Sitio Batilo.

Initial police investigation showed that the couple allegedly argued over a suspected third-party relationship.

During the altercation, the alleged lover reportedly entered the scene and stabbed the victim.

The two suspects fled after the incident but were immediately pursued by responding police officers and were subsequently arrested./CCJ, WDJ
