Two female drug suspects were arrested after the confiscation of more than P1 million worth of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation in Bacolod City’s Barangay 8 on Friday, May 8.

Operatives arrested 30-year-old alias “Ning,” identified as a high-value individual listed under the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council, and a street-level individual, 20-year-old alias “Nikka,” both residents of Barangay 8.

Authorities confiscated around 160 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P1.088 million during the operation at 11:11 a.m. in Purok Narra Baybay.

Charges for violation of Sections 5, 11, and 26 of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared against the arrested individuals./CJ, WDJ
