The Police Regional Office in the Negros Island Region (PRO-NIR) implemented a reassignment of several officials at the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) starting Monday, March 2, aimed at boosting leadership and operational efficiency.

BCPO officer-in-charge, Police Colonel Eugene Rebadomia, said the reassignments were requested as part of ongoing efforts to optimize the city police’s performance.

Among the changes, Police Captain Rosalino Pugoy Jr., former BCPO public information office chief, takes over as commander of Police Station 3, replacing Police Captain Andro Ma-apni, who was reassigned to the Philippine National Police training school.

Police Captain Glen Montaño was designated as officer-in-charge of Police Station 5, replacing Captain Ramie Sayon, who had been appointed deputy chief of the Traffic Enforcement Unit.

Police Captain Dax Santillan assumes the roles of BCPO spokesperson, officer-in-charge of the City Investigation and Detection Management Unit, and chief of the Human Rights Affairs Office.

Rebadomia expressed confidence that the newly assigned officials will strengthen leadership within BCPO and improve police service delivery to the community./CJ, WDJ
