A man was shot dead inside a computer shop at Purok Lubi in Bacolod City’s Barangay 3 on Monday night, February 2.

The victim was identified as Earnie Catahay, a resident of Negros Occidental’s Victorias City.

Authorities said the incident occurred at 9:50 p.m. while the victim was inside the establishment.

Initial investigation by joint personnel of Police Station 2 of the Bacolod City Police Office and the Scene of the Crime Operatives revealed that an unidentified male suspect entered the computer shop and shot the victim using an undetermined caliber of firearm.

The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds on different parts of his body, resulting in his immediate death.

The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction following the shooting./CJ, WDJ
