Rizal Elementary School (ES) FC displayed grit and teamwork as they captured the Born 2015 championship of the 1st BJSA Development League held at the La Providencia Open Field in Bacolod City’s Barangay Alangilan.

Led by team captain Rhince Navarra, Rizal ES FC showed remarkable composure and discipline at both ends of the field, overcoming the strong challenge from their opponents to emerge as champions in their age category.

The young squad’s victory underscored their steady improvement throughout the tournament.

Goalkeeper Nathaniel Divinagracia anchored the team’s defense with several crucial saves, while players Dane Mark Piansay, J-ian Divinagracia, Allan Abonador, and Eman Faizal kept the attack flowing with crisp passes and well-timed plays.

Offensively, Prince Jomar dela Cruz, Cesco Argallon and the Sun brothers, Winzon and Wilzon, took charge in creating scoring opportunities that led to the team’s decisive win.

Serving as head coach is Struggle Trip “Nonoy,” while he was supported by goalkeeper coach Soon Rai Ser “Winston” and teacher-coaches Annie Jane Gepanago and Aliza Sun, who worked hand-in-hand to hone the players’ skills both on and off the field.

The championship marks another milestone for Rizal ES FC as they continue to develop young talents in grassroots football.
