As Bacolod City celebrates MassKara Festival 2025, one of the cultural highlights drawing both local and international attention is the Jojo Vito Gallery, home of the world-renowned masks of smiles.

Known as the “Mask Capital of the Philippines,” Bacolod takes pride in its iconic festival masks, and for nearly two decades, Jojo Vito has become a household name synonymous with artistry, innovation and Bacolodnon identity.

His gallery, located in Barangay Mandalagan, continues to serve as both a showroom and a creative hub, where tradition meets modern design.

This year, the Jojo Vito Gallery is featuring an exclusive MassKara 2025 collection, showcasing vibrant, hand-crafted masks that blend local craftsmanship with contemporary artistry.

Each piece tells a story — not only of resilience and joy but also of Bacolod’s evolving creative spirit.

Beyond its famed festival masks, the gallery also highlights souvenirs, home décor and wearable art, making it a must-visit destination for tourists and art lovers during the festival season.

Many visitors describe the gallery as an immersive cultural experience, where they can witness artisans at work and even try their hand at mask-making.

The gallery has also become a partner for cultural tourism, welcoming delegations, students, and enthusiasts eager to learn about the artistry behind MassKara.

In past years, Jojo Vito’s works have traveled to international exhibits, putting Bacolod’s craftsmanship on the global stage.

As MassKara 2025 kicks off with its historic dual-venue opening, the Jojo Vito Gallery stands as a reminder that the festival is more than just street dancing and music — it is a celebration of heritage, artistry, and the enduring spirit of Bacolod City.

For festival-goers, a stop at the Jojo Vito Gallery is more than just a photo opportunity — it is an encounter with the heart of MassKara./CJ, WDJ
