Anti-illegal drug agents seized P10.2 million worth of suspected shabu and arrested a pusher during a buy-bust in capital Dumaguete City late on Thursday night, August 14.

Lt. Stephen Polinar, spokesperson of the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office, said yesterday that the arrest of alias “Franklin” came following weeks of close monitoring and surveillance.

The suspect, 41 years old, was tagged as a high-value individual in the police’s list of drug personalities.

Polinar said police agents received information that the suspect had in his possession a large volume of shabu.

At around 10:19 p.m., the police and agents of the local Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency arrested “Franklin” with 1.5 kilos of suspected shabu in Purok Kalubihan, Barangay Bajumpandan in Dumaguete City. (PNA)
