Negrense libero Joe Ann Nochete is set to suit up for the Adamson University Lady Falcons for college.

According to a post on the Adamson U Falconista Facebook page, Nochete moved to the Lady Falcons after spending her senior high school years at De La Salle University-Manila.

“Soaring to new heights! Negros’ promising libero Joe Ann Nochete has joined the Adamson Lady Falcons! Welcome to the Falcons’ nest, Joe Ann! #AdamsonLadyFalcons #UAAPSeason88,” their social media post read.

Nochete hails from Negros Occidental’s Talisay City, and was a former standout of Rafael B. Lacson Memorial High School before being recruited to Manila.

Nochete will not have a hard time adjusting to Adamson as she is to be handled by Negrense head coach John Philip Yude, who is from Negros Occidental’s Hinigaran town./ASC, WDJ
