BACOLOD CITY — Negros Power continues to bring welcome relief to its consumers as it announces a P0.55 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) reduction in electricity rates for June 2025 — a move that directly benefits thousands of households and businesses across its franchise area.

For this month’s billing cycle, residential consumers will pay only P11.14 per kWh, a significant drop from P11.69 per kWh last month.

This means a household consuming 200 kWh per month can expect to save around P110, providing extra funds for groceries, school expenses or other essentials.

“This rate adjustment is part of our ongoing commitment to ease the financial strain on our consumers,” said Negros Power in a statement. “We understand the daily realities families face — and we’re doing our part to help lighten the load.”

This month’s lower rates result from strategic and efficient energy management of Negros Power.

The ongoing line rehabilitation and system upgrades are likewise producing tangible benefits. The feeder loss rate improved to 8.03 percent from 8.28 percent last month, indicating that infrastructure investments enhance operational efficiency and reduce unnecessary power losses, contributing to overall cost reductions.

June 2025 Commercial Rates:

* Low voltage: P11.18 per kWh

* High voltage: P10.09 per kWh

Negros Power reaffirmed its promise to be more than just an electricity provider. “At Negros Power, we understand the pressure on household budgets — that’s why we’re working non-stop to provide reliable, affordable power for every home and business,” the company added. “We’re here to power your homes and support your lives.”

As the company continues to improve its services and implement more innovative power management strategies, consumers can expect more efficient and customer-centered solutions in the months ahead.
