Negrense libero Ann Monares has formally signed a rookie deal with the Farm Fresh Foxies days after being selected in the second round of the 2025 Premier Volleyball League Rookie Draft.
The former Far Eastern University Lady Tamaraws standout inked her contract on Wednesday afternoon, June 11, in the presence of Foxies official Jacob Lao and Monares’ agent Flavius Dulce.
“Libero Ann Monares officially joins the Farm Fresh family as she signed her contract. See you in training, Ann! Let’s hustle!” the Foxies’ social media post read.
Monares, formerly of the Bacolod Tay Tung High School Thunderbolts, was selected by the Foxies as their fourth pick in the second round of the rookie draft held over the weekend at the Novotel Manila.
The 5-foot-10 Monares will be the third Negrense in the Foxies’ lineup aside from former Thunderbolts teammate Alyssa Bertolano and ex-De La Salle University Lady Spiker Maicah Larroza./ASC, WDJ
