Negrense libero Ann Monares is bringing her learnings from the Far Eastern University (FEU) Lady Tamaraws when she begins her Premier Volleyball League (PVL) career with the Farm Fresh Foxies.

According to the Bacolod City volleybelle, she was part of the Lady Tamaraws in the past four UAAP women’s volleyball seasons and has played with different coaches and systems.

“Madami-dami po talagang learnings, especially na mayroong iba’t ibang composition ng coaches ‘yung team namin, and each of hem parang may binibigyan kaming principles,” Monares said.

“‘Yung mga values na galing sa kanila, so lahat ng ‘yun gusto kong i-apply sa akin sa pro,” she said. “Siguro ‘yung one thing na natutunan is parang maging hungry sa improvement,” she added.

Monares is one of the five Negrense volleybelles that were selected during the PVL Rookie Draft at the Novotel Manila last Monday, June 9./ASC, WDJ
