Price fluctuations on pork, beef vary across NegOcc towns, cities

Price changes in pork, beef and carabeef vary significantly across different towns in Negros Occidental, according to the latest report from the Provincial Veterinary Office.

For pork, the highest prices per kilo are recorded in the towns of Pulupandan and San Enrique, reaching up to P400.

The lowest prices are found in the municipalities of Don Salvador Benedicto, Calatrava and Toboso at around P330 per kilo.

Other towns report pork prices ranging from P340 to P390, with an average price of P368.14 per kilo as of Monday, June 2, showing a slight decrease compared to P368.19 on May 26.

Carabeef prices have seen an increase, with the highest price in the cities of Escalante and Kabankalan at P450 per kilo, and the lowest is in E.B. Magalona town at P350 per kilo.

Other areas report prices between P360 and P390 per kilo.

Beef prices also rose, with the highest in Kabankalan at P450 per kilo, and the lowest in the cities of Sagay and Victorias at P360 per kilo.
