Sum-ag Bridge 2 in Bacolod City’s Barangay Sum-ag will be closed today due to the concrete pouring of the bridge slab.

Jose Antonio Robello, Bacolod Traffic Authority Office deputy head, said the southbound lane of Sum-ag Bridge will be closed to traffic from 9:00 a.m. onwards.

Six traffic enforcers will be deployed at the bridge to manage and control traffic situations.

Due to the construction activities, Bridge 1 will be temporarily utilized as a two-way lane.

“Motorists may experience sudden traffic, and be advised to take extra precautions,” the Department of Public Works and Highways said./MS, WDJ
