The Commission on Elections (Comelec) in Bacolod City will launch satellite voter registration starting today until April 20.
Comelec-Bacolod officer Kathrina Trinio-Caña said the registration in several city barangays will have the following schedule:
* February 17 – Barangay Pahanocoy at Pahanocoy Covered Court
* February 24 – Barangay Banago at Banago Elementary School Covered Court
* March 1 – Barangay Mandalagan at Mandalagan Barangay Hall
* March 2 – Barangay Alijis at Alijis Barangay Gymnasium
* March 9 – Barangay Punta Taytay at Punta Taytay Barangay Hall
* March 15 – Barangay Bata at Bata Barangay Gymnasium (Purok Marapara)
* March 16 – Barangay Mansilingan at Mansilingan Barangay Gymnasium
* March 22 – Barangay Felisa at Felisa Gymnasium
* March 23 – Barangay Taculing at Gonzaga Gymnasium
* April 6 – Barangay Villamonte at Villamonte Barangay Gymnasium
* April 13 – Barangay Singcang-Airport at J.R. Torres Elementary School Covered Court
* April 20 – Barangay Tangub at Barangay Gymnasium (Ramylu Drive)
Residents can file for transfer, reactivation and entry correction of their registration.
Trinio-Caña said no registration would be conducted at the Comelec-Bacolod office during the satellite registration.
She added that around 600 registrants, including senior citizens and persons with disabilities, will be accommodated in every barangay.
Comelec-Bacolod started accepting applications for voter registration on Monday, February 12.
The poll body’s Registration Anywhere Program will be conducted at the Government Services Express at a mall in Bacolod./MS, WDJ
