A teenager was killed following a commotion during a fiesta at Barangay Igmaya-an in Negros Occidental’s Don Salvador Benedicto town on Sunday, July 30.

Town police identified the fatality as 18-year-old Jeffrey John Toledano, a resident of Barangay Kumaliskis.

Police investigation said the victim was reportedly waylaid by a group of individuals while waiting for his companion to go home.

A commotion occurred which resulted in stabbing Toledano in the chest.

Police are still yet to determine who stabbed the victim, but already have persons of interest.

An investigation is ongoing./WDJ
