Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson is expected to deliver his State of the Province Address (SOPA) next week.

In a phone patch interview yesterday morning, Lacson said he will deliver the address virtually with the province’s response against COVID-19 as the primary topic.

Lacson is also expected to reveal some of the province’s achievements as well as future programs as part of his “Abanse Negrense” program.

Lacson assumed the post as governor of the province on June 30, 2019.

The coming address would be his last prior to next year’s polls, although he had already announced that he would seek reelection as governor of the province./DGB, WDJ
