Three computer shops in Barangay Tabuc Suba, La Paz district and two other shops in the City Proper district in Iloilo City were padlocked for violating the curfew for minors and the minimum health standards against COVID-19.
The said computer shops were also found operating without the Mayor’s Permit License.
“In this time of crisis, we must be responsible business owners for the safety of our customers,” said Mayor Jerry P. Treñas.
Three of the five shops were closed down on Friday, April 23, while two others were first ordered closed on April 21.
The Task Force on Moral and Values Formation headed by Nestor Canong together with the Iloilo City Police Office Office-Women and Children Desk and other force multipliers have been continuously operating every night, specifically making sure the enforcement of curfew for minors, when they discovered these violating computer shops./WDJ
