A drunken man sustained injuries in the body when a motorcycle hit him at Barangay Agboy Sur in Iloilo province’s Leon town on Saturday.

Fifty one-year-old Alberto Guiloriza, a resident of the village, was recuperating at the Aleosan District Hospital, police said.

Leon police reports showed a motorcycle driven by 25-year-old Rusbel Candia of the town’s Barangay Capt. Fernando hit Guiloriza who suddenly crossed the road around 8:30 p.m.

Candia was arrested and now detained in the lockup cell of the Leon Police Station, facing reckless imprudence resulting to injury charges./WDJ
