Three men yielded around 60 grams of suspected shabu following a buy-bust operation at Barangay Sto. Niño Sur in Iloilo City’s Arevalo district around 1:05 p.m. yesterday.

Authorities identified the suspects as 34-year-old Ace Dale Segura, June Fedilla and Efren Tugado.

Officers of the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit confiscated from the suspects 11 plastic sachets of suspected shabu, including the buy-bust item worth P19,500.

The suspects were detained in the lockup cell of the Arevalo Police Station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./WDJ
