Negros Occidental will be well-represented in the restart of 2020 PBA Philippine Cup on Sunday, October 11, at the Angeles University Foundation Gym in Pampanga with 10 players who traced their roots from the province being lined up.

Based on the lineup released by PBA on Wednesday, five of the Negrense players came from Bacolod City, two from Escalante City and one each from Pontevedra, Silay City and Bago City.
Among those from Bacolod City were Meralco Bolts’ Reynel Hugnatan, Barangay Ginebra San Miguel Kings’ Jeffrei Chan, TNT Tropang Giga’s Kib Montalbo, and Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters’ Justin Chua.
Those who traced their roots from Escalante City were Rain or Shine Elasto Painters’ James Yap and Kings

forward Joe Devance.
Completing the roster of Negrenses in the PBA bubble were Pontevedra-native Raymar Jose of the Bolts, Bago City’s Raul Soyud of NLEX Road Warriors and Silay City-native John Paul Calvo of Terrafirma Dyip./ASC, WDJ
