Tay Tung remains undefeated in Silay City volleyball tournament

Bacolod Tay Tung High School, which is competing for the JGM Dreams Foundation, remains undefeated in the ongoing Negros Volleyball Federation Age-Group Volleyball Tournament in Silay City. They won their second straight win last Sunday with a 25-21, 21-25, 25-23 win over the Trinity Christian School in the 17-and-Under category.

“It was a total team effort,” said Tay Tung middle blocker Aurea Claudette Alvero. “Every single player [made] contributions and, collectively, we were able to take the win against a tough opponent.”

Earlier in the weekend, Tay Tung beat the University of St. La Salle.

Additionally, Tay Tung also scored a double victory in the 15-and-Under category after beating EB Magalona and the Trinity Christian School./ASC, WDJ
