Mayor: The biggest development in the barangay

Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia led the turnover of a P2.8 million covered court over the weekend at Purok Cana-an in the city’s Barangay Mandalagan. The mayor, who was joined by Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran and other local officials, called the structure “beautiful.”
“Vice Mayor El Cid and I are happy that you are all happy,” he said. “Most importantly, we are bragging [about] the biggest development that will happen here in Barangay Mandalagan.”
The covered court was funded entirely by the city government. (PR)
