Perez, Tautuaa to lead PHL squad

 

Columbian Dyip guard CJ Perez and San Miguel Beermen center Moala Tautuaa are set to lead the Philippines in the 2020 FIBA 3×3 Olympic Qualifying Tournament, which will take place from March 18 to 22 in Bengaluru, India. Also joining them on the team are Alvin Pasaol and Joshua Munzon.

Meanwhile, Karl Dehesa and Leonard Santillan are on the reserve list.

“It is an honor for the Philippines to be [among] the top 20 countries vying for seats at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics,” said Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas President Al Panlilio. “We ask our countrymen to rally behind our team in its quest to be part of the Olympiad.”
