Four drug personalities were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday at Small Tibuco in San Carlos City’s Barangay 1.

Police identified the suspects as Jomel Banla-an, 32, single, pedicab driver of the barangay; Justin Biatingo, 21, single, of Calatrava town’s Barangay Calampisawan; Monico Barbon, 46, married, pedicab driver of the city’s Barangay Punao Proper; and John Ray Villarta, 21, single, baker, of Barangay Panubigon in Canlaon City, Negros Oriental.

Police confiscated seven heat sealed sachets of suspected shabu worth P12,000 and drug paraphernalia.

Banla-an, the subject of the operation, is in the watchlist of San Carlos City police./WDJ
