The Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology (IEET) Research Conference is scheduled to open in Talisay City today. The event is being organized by the Western Visayas Consortium for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development and the Department of Science and Technology-Region VI (DOST-6).
The conference, which is expected to gather researchers, students, faculty, and inventors from across the Western Visayas, seeks to underscore research and development in food safety and security; energy efficiency and renewable energy; and electronics, information and communications technology, and emerging technology.
According to DOST-6, “The research conference aims to present opportunities to boost research capabilities, dissemination, application, and collaborations among consortium members.”
During the two-day conference, participants will join sessions; trainings; and presentations, including an oral and poster research presentation contest for faculty and students. (PR)
