An alliance between localities within the Negros Occidental second congressional district are set to launch an alliance today in Sagay City. The Cadiz City-Sagay City-Manapla District Development Alliance, of Casama, seeks to collaboratively build up the legislative district.
According to Negros Occidental second district Rep. Leo Rafael Cueva, who leads the alliance, the alliance seeks to “pursue an integrated, holistic, and comprehensive    development approach towards the realization of inclusive and prosperous socio-economic development of the district and its population.”
Today’s events will begin with a joint session, which will be followed by the unveiling of the project logo, messages from local officials, and a press conference.
Localities associated with the alliance are each expected to pass ordinances to define their goals of the group./WDJ
