Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson recently turned over five multi-purpose vehicles, P1 million in scholarship funding, and P1.5 million worth of livelihood assistance to San Enrique.
A total of 400 college students each received P2,500 in scholarships; while the livelihood assistance went to those involved in hog raising, salt production, fish vending, fruit vending, along with those seeking to set-up a sari-sari store or purchase a pedicab.
Meanwhile, the vehicles were provided to specific barangays in town./WDJ
