San Beda University cruised to their 10th consecutive win in the 95th NCAA men’s basketball season with a 98-66 win over Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) last Tuesday at the San Juan Arena.
Ilonggo small forward Clint Doliguez, Donald Tankoua, and Evan Nelle each score 13 points; while Calvin Oftana and Amiel Cris Soberano added 12 markers apiece.
Holding to a slim 16-14 lead after the first 10 minutes, San Beda went on a rampage in the second period with a 38-8 run behind Oftana and Tankoua, resulting in a 54-23 halftime edge.
San Beda continued to pound EAC in the second half with Doliguez, Tankoua, Soberano, and Oftana spearheading the offense as their lead stretched to its widen margin at 89-48.
