Meanwhile, one of the arrested was a minor.
The BCPO-City Drug Enforcement Unit topped the list in terms of value, seizing nearly P3.5 million worth of drugs. They were followed by Police Station 7 with P3.3 million and Police Station 2 with P1.850M.
The data also showed a total 152 cases were filed last month.
Earlier, BCPO confirmed drug personalities in the city may be stockpiling illegal drugs in preparation for the upcoming MassKara Festival.
BCPO spokesperson, Police Lt. Colonel Ariel Pico, said drugs are in demand particularly during festivities as some revelers use illegal drugs to stay awake.
He said the department has since stepped up monitoring in order to intercept any drugs being smuggled into the city’s entry points./DGB, WDJ
