Negros Occidental Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer gave a President Rodrigo Duterte an 85 percent rating in terms of his performance over the past three years.
“Even in surveys the president [has a] positive performance rating, which means that the government is doing [well] under his administration,” he explained.
In terms of the president’s State of the Nation Address, which is scheduled for Monday, July 22, Ferrer said he expects Duterte to discuss plans for the rest of his administration and a summary of accomplishments so far.
According to Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo, Duterte is expected to deliver a shorter address this year./DGB, WDJ
