Two floors will provide city councilors with bigger offices

The Iloilo City government announced the City Engineer’s Office has been instructed to conduct a study into the possible construction of a multipurpose parking garage next to City Hall.
“We are planning to have a four-to-five story [parking garage],” explained Iloilo City Mayor Jerry P. Treñas. “Two floors will accommodate the City Council [in order] for them to have bigger offices.”
He explained, the parking garage will also address the lack of parking in the local area, especially with members of the public often converging at City Hall./WDJ
