At least one person was killed, while another was injured, after two motorcycles collided Monday afternoon at Purok Proper in Bago City’s Barangay Bacong, Monday afternoon.
Police identified the fatality as 18-year-old Crisa Mie Rodriguez; while the injured was identified as 30-year-old Eduardo Recopuerto.
Based on an investigation carried out by Bago City police, Rodriguez was riding a motorcycle being operated by Raymart Cordova and were heading south when they collided with Recopuerto’s motorcycle, which was heading north.
Both Rodriguez and Recopuerto were rushed to the city’s district hospital for treatment but Rodriguez later succumbed to her injuries.
Cordova, meanwhile, surrendered to Bago City police and was immediately detained while awaiting a decision by the victims’ families to file charges or not./DGB, WDJ
