Green Archers United came up with late goals to score a 3-0 win over Philippine Air Force FC recently in the 2019 Philippines Football League (PFL) at the Biñan Football Stadium in Laguna.
Green Archers midfielder Alen Angeles opened scoring in the 70th minute, which he followed up by earning a brace in the 79th minute. Midfielder Ronnie Aguisanda then put the club ahead 3-0 in the 84th minute.
Meanwhile, the scheduled match between Global Makati FC and Mendiola FC was abandoned after kickoff was delayed by 30 minutes.
“The status of the said match shall be referred to the [Liga Futbol Inc.] Board for its decision,” the PFL said in a statement. “This is simply an isolated case, which shall be dealt with immediately and accordingly.”/ASC, WDJ
