The Lopue’s Table Tennis Association- University of St. La Salle (LOPTTA-USLS) team is expected to participate in the Junior Elite International Table Tennis Competition, which begins on Friday, June 21, in Taipei, Taiwan.
The annual tournament is anticipating athletes from different countries.
The team, which is under the tutelage of Marell Lagunday-Alvarez, will be comprised of Anton Andre Bayona, Joaquin Bragancia, Franz Jedriek Geganto, Shaun Rain Jardinico, and Andrea Bayona.
The competition runs throughout the weekend, concluding on Sunday, June 23.
Last April, LOPTTA competed in the Uni-Orient Cup at the San Beda University gymnasium, where Andre Bayona, Bragancia, Geganto, along with John Belzunce, comprised the third place team in the elementary boys’ team competition./WDJ
