A man was hospitalized after his firearm accidentally discharged while inside his home in Barangay Abuanan, Bago City.
Police identified the victim as 21-year-old Errol Beliarde, a resident of the said area.
Bago City Police Station investigators said Beliarde was cleaning gear, along with his .38 caliber firearm, when he accidentally pulled the trigger. The firearm then discharged and he was struck in the knee.
Beliarde was immediately rushed at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City after the incident./DGB, WDJ
