Teams from the Western Visayas won at the recent Pioneer National Bangkarera, which took place at the Saint Francis Ocean Park in Naga City, Cebu. The Bacolodnons won the 7-horsepower category, while Team Nino of Capiz won the paddle boat division.
The event, held in cooperation with the Angat sa Dagat Organization, is the largest boat racing event in the country.
