Following a recent four-day operation by the Bacolod City Traffic Authority Office (BTAO), an estimated 247 colorum vehicles were impounded. According to BTAO head, Police Lt. Colonel Luisito Acebuche, the undertaking was part of their “One Time, Big Time” operation, which targets colorum vehicles and erring motorists.
Aside from colorum vehicles, BTAO also apprehended at least 100 motorcyclists for violating a city ordinance requiring them to wear helmets, as well as those violating the riding-in-tandem ordinance.
BTAO will deploy at least 50 traffic enforcers to various schools today for the opening of classes./DGB, WDJ
