Negrense Bernadeth Pons and her partner Cherry Rondina were eliminated from the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) Beach Volleyball World Tour Boracay Open after losing their quarterfinal match over the weekend at the White House Beach Resort, located at the island’s Station 1.
The pair fell 21-17, 21-19 to Sakurako Fujii and Minori Kumuda of Japan.
Meanwhile, Negrense Bea Tan and her partner Dij Rodriguez lost 21-12, 21-12 in the Round-of-12 to Thai pair Pawarun Chanthawichai and Thatsarida Singchuea.
