WVPRISAA named

overall champions

The Western Visayas Private Schools Athletic Association (WVPRISAA) were named overall champions of the 2019 PRISAA National Games, which recently came to a close in Davao City. The champions won a total of 455 medals, capturing 212 gold, 146 silver, and 97 bronze medals.
Region VII finished in a distant second place, behind by over 100 medals. They took home a total 347, winning 139 gold, 128 silver, and 80 bronze medals.
Among the final medals earned by WVPRISAA included gold medals in the tertiary women’s beach volleyball competition and tertiary men’s football event./ASC, WDJ
