Boracay ranks third among top getaway locations for the holiday break

Travel company Agoda recently polled Filipinos on their top getaway destinations for the Holy Week observance and found Boracay, located in Malay, Antique, ranked third on the list, behind Manila and Cebu.

The rank is a slight boost from previous years where the popular resort island came in fourth. Palawan, which fell to 10th on the 2019 list, previously occupied the third position in previous years.

Last year, based on booking data compiled by Agoda, Boracay was one of five domestic destinations for New Year’s Eve spots, coming in eighth overall.

International locales also made the list for Holy Week destinations including Tokyo, Hong Kong, Taipei, and Seoul./WDJ
