Cadiz City native Renz Rosia lost via unanimous decision to Ponciano Remandiman in their Philippine Visayas Professional Boxing Association super flyweight title fight, which recently took place at Remandiman at Parkmall in Mandaue City, Cebu.

“Hindi ko alam kung ano pa ang kulang dahil ibinigay ko na ang lahat pero ganun talaga ang boxing (I don’t know what was missing because I gave everything but that’s boxing,” he said after the fight. “Siguro kailangan ko pang pagbutihin sa practice para sa susunod panalo na (I probably need to improve practicing so I will win the next one).”

The loss, the Negrense fight’s second consecutive defeat, leaves him with a 14-8-1 win-loss-draw record./WDJ
