The Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office (NOrPPO) has formed a special investigation task group to probe the murder of Negros Oriental Provincial Board Member Miguel Dungog.
The task group, led by outgoing NOrPPO director, Police Colonel Raul Tacaca, was convened last Wednesday at the Dumaguete City Police Station.
Investigators are presently looking into possible angles in order to identify suspects.
Currently, the Negros Oriental provincial government, along with the local business sector, are offering a P500,000 bounty for anyone who can provide information that leads to the suspects’ arrest.
Dungog was shot dead last week as he was walking towards the Silliman University Medical Center./DGB, WDJ
