Provincial offices to vacate PAC at the end of the month

Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon, Jr. recently issued a memorandum to various department heads advising them to vacate the Provincial Administration Center (PAC) by April 30.

Provincial Information Officer Karen Dinsay said, starting today, affected offices will be packing ahead of their pending transfer to temporary office spaces as the construction of a new mixed-use building commences.

Among the affected offices include the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist, Provincial Veterinary Office, Office of the Provincial Human Resource Management Office, General Services Office, Provincial Health Office, Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, Negros Occidental Scholarship Program, Provincial Assessor’s Office, Department of Budget and Management Procurement Services, Provincial Engineering Office, Negros Occidental Comprehensive Health Program, Information and Communication Technology Division, Disaster Management Program Division, Capitol Government Employees Cooperative, Provincial Planning and Development Office, and Economic Enterprises Development Department.

The said offices will move out of their respective temporary relocation sites once the new P900 million PAC building is finished./DGB, WDJ
