Adamson University won their ninth straight UAAP softball title following their 11-2 win over the University of Santo Tomas (UST) last Tuesday at the Rizal Memorial Baseball Stadium.

The title is the school’s 18th overall championship.

Arianne Vallestero, a transfer from National University, delivered two hit and three runs in the game. She capped the season off by being named MVP, Best Hitter, Best Slugger, along with the Most RBIs.

She also shares the Most Homeruns award with UST’s Charlotte Sales and the Most Stolen Bases award with teammate Angelu Gabriel.

In terms of the finals itself, Adamson’s Lyca Basa was named MVP, along with Best Pitcher./ASC, WDJ
