Two drug suspects were arrested in a buy-bust operation at Gonzaga Subdivision in Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod City.

The 42-year-old Joepas “Tata” Palo and 24-year-old MaritesJuros – both residents of the village – were caught after they allegedly sold a sachet of shabu to an undercover police officer for P1,000 on Sunday evening.

Officers from Police Station 4 staged the sting operation.

When frisked, the suspects yielded seven more sachets of suspected shabu.

A coin purse and the marked money were also seized from them.

Palo and Juros were detained in the lockup facility of Police Station 4, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./DGB, WDJ
